October 2015 - I am declaring myself healed!

I am one of the lucky ones. My skin is an early warning system that my body is not functioning properly.  Some people get high blood pressure, or high cholesterol, or overweight, or depression, or asthma or <insert health condition>.

I get rashes that indicate that my body has toxins that are causing problems.  I have spent the past 18 months detoxing and cleaning up my diet and my skin currently shows no signs of psoriasis.  I am no longer on a restrictive diet but I eat and drink the things that poison me in much more moderation.

I have not used any pharmaceuticals in about 8 months. The steroid cream has its own set of problems but as my  blog followers know, I have used it when I needed a break from a bad flare.

I know I will get the occasional flare going forward, but I know that flare is reminding me to stay away from my toxins. My toxins may be different than yours but for me it was:
  • night shades
  • sugar
  • wine
  • pesticides from non-organic foods
How do I know this? Well it is all in my blog but the short answer is I had a toxicity report that tested me through the roof on some heavy metals. The only source of these I can figure out are from pesticides, maybe bad tap water.  I get itchy when I drink more than 2 glasses of red wine. I get itchy if I eat too much sweets. I don't feel itchy with night shades but I have been eating those in moderation.  If I eat tomato sauce 2 times in a row rashes looked a little redder - at least to me.

How I healed is clearly spelled out in my blog but to summarize I did the following:
  • Read Dr Pagano's book and educated myself and tried to follow it
  • Detoxed myself per Pagano's recommendations
  • Addressed my leaky gut with supplements - (Probiotics)
  • Detoxed with MediClear
  • Drink more filtered water
  • Went organic!
  • Check lotions - a lot of them have bad stuff in it.  I switched to olive oil.
I wish you all the best.
My daughter has eczema - and I am starting her on my regiment. I will keep you in the loop on how she is doing.
Thanks for visiting my blog.  I have over 20k visits.  You guys kept me going.  I am very happy.
